FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical devices inserted percutaneously into a blood vessel in order to perform mechanical or chemical and mechanical obliteration (ablation, closure). Catheter comprises cutting element and inlet tube. Resilient-elastic cutting element is made from one part of the tube and consists of a bushing and profiled longitudinal projections with sharp ends protruding from the ledges and directed to the non-traumatic tip. Element is installed on the inner tube assembly. Sharp ends are bent off projections outward relative to the axis of the catheter so that in the released position the sharp ends touch the inner wall of the vessel.

EFFECT: use of invention enables controlled dissection of inner areas of blood vessel walls.
