FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. A breathing device comprises an adapter assembly accommodating a ventilator port, a respiratory port for the connection to an air pipe, an access port accommodating a canal limiting a passage extending from an open inlet end, a washing port projecting from the canal and opened to have a fluid connection into the passage on an outlet of the washing port, and a catheter assembly comprising a fitting with a sleeve pipe and a tube extending from the sleeve pipe to a back end. The tube limits an outer surface, an inner surface forming a lumen, a peripheral groove on the outer surface adjoining the back end, a number of holes opened to have a fluid connection into the lumen, and to the outer surface within the peripheral groove, the catheter assembled with the fitting; the catheter limits a distal end. The tube can be introduced into the lumen along a sliding fit. What is disclosed is a method for connecting the respiratory apparatus with patient's artificial air pipe.
EFFECT: provided independent canal for the washing fluid.
