FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment field. Atrial appendage occluder is configured to occupy a half-opened position by pushing the distal cable and comprises: a major portion of the occluder; distal control cable and proximal control cable. Distal end of the main portion of the occluder is connected to one end of the distal control cable by means of a distal threaded bushing. Proximal end of the main part of the occluder is connected to one end of the proximal control cable by means of a proximal threaded bushing. Proximal control cable has the shape of a hollow cylinder. Other end of the distal control cable passes successively through the proximal threaded bushing and the proximal control cable. Main portion of the occluder represents a woven mesh carcass structure and is characterized by an external shape pre-made so that after complete opening of the main part of the occluder it coincides with a shape of atrial appendage. Prior to opening, main part of occluder has shape of plate located in outer shell. After extrusion from the outer shell, the major portion of the occluder occupies a semi-open position. Changing diameter of the main part of the occluder is ensured by pushing or pulling action on the distal control cable.
EFFECT: invention provides the ability to adjust the position of the occluder in the atrial appendage for accurate opening of the occluder in the required position.
