FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology and medicine. Disclosed is a pharmacological composition having a protective action on the state of tissues of the posterior eye – scleral shell, retina, pigment epithelium, choroid, which is an aqueous solution in concentration 10-7–10-17 mg/ml and consisting of a chaperone-like activity protein-peptide complex containing peptides with molecular weight from 1,000 to 6,000 Da and protein with molecular weight 66,000–68,000 Da, related to a family of blood serum albumins, as well as lipids and carbohydrates, obtained by separating from the scleral shell of the eye of vertebrate animals IEF-fractions separated and collected by isoelectric focusing (IEF) in the pH range <3.0, mixed in equimolecular ratios and obtained as a result of successive extraction of the scleral shell of the eyes of vertebrates, fractionation and separation of obtained fractions using reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
EFFECT: invention ensures adhesion of intercellular interactions in the eye tissue, integrity of collagen fibers and increased viability of fibroblasts, as well as maintenance of adhesion between tissues of the posterior eye, increased viability of cells, preservation of the status of cell adhesion, proliferation and differentiation; invention enables to obtain a highly purified preparation for preventing and treating eye diseases associated with said disorders.
