FIELD: chemistry; physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for electrochemical analysis. Substance of the invention consists in that the analysis method for chemical analysis includes: (A) obtaining by means of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, carried out in the range of applied potentials, a plurality of values of measurements of complex impedance Z* of the system, which has a working electrode which is in contact with a carrier medium, which can contain said substance, wherein the working electrode comprises receptor agents capable of binding to said substance, wherein the working electrode comprises an electrode substrate, functionalised by sensitive elements, the electrochemical response of which on the applied potentials is sensitive to binding of said substance with said receptor agents, and the sensitive elements have size of 0.5 to 10 nm; (B) converting said plurality of measurement values Z* into a plurality of measured values of real component of complex capacitance C' at selected frequency ω and/or imaginary component of complex capacitance C" at selected frequency ω; (C) integration of measurement values (a) C', (b) C" or (c) any combination C' and C" at selected frequency ω as function of applied voltage to obtain integrated measurement value and (D) determining whether a chemical is present in the carrier medium based on said integrated measurement value.

EFFECT: technical result is high sensitivity, selectivity.
