FIELD: internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Method of operation of internal combustion engine (10), in which exhaust gas flowing from throttle bypass turbine (162) is directed through heat exchanger (158) of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR). EGR heat exchanger is located in the exhaust gas recirculation channel (150). Turbine is located in bypass channel (160) of throttle (63) and is connected to inlet channel (42). Inlet channel by means of throttle bypass channel supplies inlet air into exhaust gas recirculation channel in place upstream of waste gas recirculation heat exchanger. Invention discloses internal combustion engine operation method and internal combustion engine.

EFFECT: technical result consists in prevention of formation of condensate or icing in inlet channel by means of temperature control of waste gas.
