FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed are methods and systems for controlling operation of throttle turbo-generator in order to improve purging of fuel vapour absorber. Pressure drop at intake throttle can be used for rotation of turbine installed in throttle bypass channel, wherein said turbine in its turn drives generator for charging of battery. In conditions when rarefaction in inlet manifold has low level, generator may be actuated as motor to rotate turbine and use compressor effect of turbine for blowing fuel vapour from fuel system fuel vapour absorber.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of fuel economy.
