FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and system for limiting damage caused by arcs in groups of buses, an arc transfer element is proposed on each side of the group of buses. Arc transfer element grips any arcs formed near connection points of busbars, and transfers arc from points of connection of busbars to inner space of group of buses. Interphase barriers along the length of the inner space of the group of buses are directed to the ends of the group of buses. Collecting buses and the channel element form a tortuous passage for the arc with interruption of the circuit. Arc is transferred by arc-discharge pressure in twisting passage for arc with c-shaped corridor through gaps in channel element.
EFFECT: technical result consists in limitation of damage caused by arcs formed in electrical distribution equipment.
