FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Proposed method comprises displacement of camshaft phase shifter valve camshaft with drive from cam torque to locked area after first torsional impulse of distributing shaft (130), but before second camshaft torsional pulse occurs. Second torsional impulse of the distributing shaft occurs immediately after the first torsional impulse of the distributing shaft. Events of occurrence of the first and second torsional pulses of the distribution shaft are calculated on the basis of the position of the distributing shaft relative to the position of crankshaft (40). Method for engine and engine system are disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy and reliability of adjustment of phase change phase position of cam distribution.
