FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Method for phase changer of phases of cam distribution includes indication of deterioration of state of phase shifter of change of phases of cam distribution at exceeding of threshold value by fluctuations of torque of distribution shaft (130). Camshaft torque fluctuations are studied when the cam valve of the camshaft phase shifter is out of the neutral zone. Disclosed are a method for phase change of cam distribution phases and an engine system.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability and accuracy of operation of phase changer of camshaft distribution system with drive from camshaft torque.
