FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Method for engine comprises the following steps: moving the slide valve in order to move the phasing device of distributing shaft (130) into an advance position relative to the middle locking position in response to the required phasing of the distribution shaft to the middle locking position with the locked stop pin; holding phasing device in advanced position relative to middle locking position; at occurrence of cam rotation impulse, movement of slide valve into holding area. Disclosed are methods (embodiments) for engine.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability and accuracy of operation of the device for phasing cams distribution phases.
