FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the screw propulsion unit. Screw-type propulsor comprises a rotor with a screw flange provided with a rotation mechanism and a rotary head. Multiturn screw crest of rotor is made in the form of tops in system of stellate plates from elastomer material with central hole of non-round section, connected by ropes. Cables are passed through additional holes equidistant from central hole of plates with tops closing branches of hypocycloidal curves.
EFFECT: extension of the screw propulsion unit functionality is achieved.
