SUBSTANCE: assistance means during parking includes: a detector configured to receive a signal from a vehicle external information sensor, which is capable of detecting at least one of the following: movement or voice / sound of a user outside the vehicle and determine whether at least one of the following: movement or voice / sound of user of control parking instruction specified in advance, thereby detecting specific user control parking command; and start-up means configured to start parking control if a control parking command is detected.
EFFECT: disclosed is a parking assistance device configured to perform parking control for automatic parking of a vehicle in a target parking position.
