FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric engineering, namely to the overvoltage limitation device with the self-diagnostics function of the protective element state, and can be used for improvement of the electric equipment operation reliability, in order to increase the fire safety. Overvoltage limitation device includes protective element located inside insulating housing with cover, which is a highly non-linear resistor, emergency shutdown actuation indicator, movable emergency shutdown contact connected by means of solder with a contact plate having an outlet into the cavity between the insulating housing and the cover, in contact with the second contact plate for connection to the circuit, installed on one side in the surface of the insulating housing and coming out from the other side outside from the insulating housing, and connected to the emergency shutdown actuation indicator such that when the protective element is damaged, the connection is opened between the movable emergency shutdown contact and the second contact plate for connecting to the circuit, wherein the connection between the movable emergency shutdown contact and the contact plate having an outlet into the cavity between the insulating housing and the cover is soldered and, by the springing properties of the emergency shutdown contact, is moved away while simultaneously moving the emergency shutdown actuation indicator flag, which enables to visually determine emergency shutdown of the protective element.
EFFECT: higher reliability of emergency shutdown of protective element with possible visual control of emergency shutdown is technical result of invention.
