FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: described are systems and methods for improving fuel injection in an engine which comprises a cylinder which receives fuel from two different fuel nozzles. In one example, errors in fuel supply of each of two fuel injectors are determined on the basis of fuel fraction supplied by two fuel nozzles at different modes of engine operation. Operation of nozzles can be corrected depending on certain errors in fuel supply.
EFFECT: invention can be used in fuel management systems for internal combustion engines.
