FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Disclosed is a method for grain disinfection, which involves exposure of the treated grain to a stream of cold plasma at atmospheric pressure. Cold plasma flow is generated due to negative corona discharge between anode and cathode at pulse voltage with parameters: potential difference 10 kV, frequency 50 Hz, plasma-forming substance – air. Grains with moisture content of 7–14 % are placed with a layer thickness of 5 mm on the anode surface and treated for 10 minutes.
EFFECT: invention provides a stable disinfecting effect when processing grain of both food and seed, intended for storage.
