FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biodegradable polymer coatings with improved surface hydrophilicity, having polar groups, and can be used to improve implant biointegration, cell culture. Disclosed is a method of producing a coating based on biodegradable polymer from solution with subsequent treatment in plasma, wherein the main solvent used is a solvent having a boiling point of up to 110 °C, or mixture thereof: tetrahydrofuran, dichloromethane, dioxane, methyl acetate, ethyl acetate; wherein additionally adding to solution modifying additive from 0.5 % to 20 % of weight of main solvent of one of following substances, with boiling point above 180 °C and having a phenyl group, or mixture thereof: benzyl alcohol, phenyl-ethyl alcohol, benzyl-acetate, wherein polymer with weight-average molecular weight of at least 40 kDa is used, wherein heat treatment is carried out at temperature not exceeding glass transition temperature of polymer, and subsequent treatment is carried out in low-temperature HF plasma at power of not more than 60 mW/cm2 for not more than 100 seconds and ion energy of less than 100 eV.

EFFECT: coating surface of the invention has a high degree of hydrophilicity, which is maintained for several days under normal conditions, and therefore provides improved interaction with molecules of different biopolymers, as well as fixation of cells on it.
