FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing a protective and masking coating, including on surfaces of biodegradable polymers, metals, with different hydrophilicity based on wax or paraffin by aerosol spraying from solution in hexane, heptane, octane or mixture thereof, with addition of: nonane, decane, undecane, dodecane or their mixture in volume concentration from 5 % to 50 % to the main solvent; solution flow rate does not exceed 0.05 ml/cm2 per minute, and above the substrate a gas flow is formed with flow rate exceeding the solution flow by not less than 4 orders, and heating is performed to the temperature lower than the melting point of wax and/or paraffin. Application is carried out by continuous coating of entire surface, or when contact or shadow mask is used – in separate specified areas, or at partial stochastic filling of surface.

EFFECT: invention relates to protective and masking coatings based on wax or paraffin, which ensures preservation of surface parameters and/or formation of areas with different properties by mask; can be used for surface modification, including implants, improvement of their bio-integration, for surfaces for cultivation of cells.
