DEVICE FOR PROVIDING REPARATIVE SPINAL CORD REGENERATION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/00 A61B90/40 A61M31/00

Abstract RU 2709112 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Device for examining and providing reparative regeneration of the spinal cord comprises the walls of the chamber, an attachment element to the skin with a sealant on the inner surface and holes for feeding and extracting the substance from its cavity. Side walls of the chamber have edges that repeat the shape of the body. Edges change over into attachment element fields from elastic sheet polymer with sealant on lower surface adjacent to intact skin surface. Walls of the device have two nozzles on opposite sides for supply and extraction of the solution. In upper wall of device there is a hole with sealed cover providing access to exposed spinal cord. Outer corset is supplemented with three independent plates-tires fixed to each other by adhesive bandages repeating bends of the body immobilizing the injury area and additionally holding the chamber on the individual's body with spinal trauma.

EFFECT: invention provides more effective treatment of a spinal injury, as well as provides the possibility of long-term studies of regeneration of the exposed spinal cord and its membranes in special conditions of the controlled sterile aqueous environment, with washing out the pathologically changed liquor, as well as after cell transplants, including mesenchymal stem cells of bone marrow.
