FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used for prediction of preterm delivery in threatened miscarriage. That is ensured by determining the level of interleukin 33 (IL-33) by immunoenzymatic method in females threatened with interruption of pregnancy at age of 18–22 weeks. If blood serum IL-33 is 0.98 pg/ml and higher, a high risk of preterm delivery is predicted.
EFFECT: use of the given method enables predicting premature births at risk of miscarriage and selecting pregnant women in a risk group with the possibility of selecting a preventive therapy.
