SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to obstetrics and gynecology, and is intended to predict premature rupture of the membranes (PRM) up to 28 weeks of gestation. In women with gestational age up to 28 weeks in the blood serum polymorphism of the proinflammatory cytokine IL18 in the -137 G> C position, as well as the serum concentration of the pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines IL-1β, IL-8, IL-10, IFN-γ are determined and calculated the probability of premature rupture of the membranes before 28 weeks of pregnancy using the formula: р=1/(1+e-z)*100%. If p is greater than or equal to 0.5, premature rupture of the membranes is predicted before 28 weeks of gestation.

EFFECT: invention provides increased accuracy of prediction of PRM regardless of the various clinical manifestations of this complication of pregnancy with possibility of choosing an adequate preventive treatment.
