FIELD: medicine; obstetrics.
SUBSTANCE: method of early prediction of miscarriage during exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection is to determine the content of interleukin 1β in pg/ml (IL-1β), prostaglandin E2 in pg/ml (PGE2) in women's blood serum using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Then the threat of miscarriage is predicted by comparing the prognostic index PI calculated using the discriminant function: PI = -74.716+0.85×IL-1β-0.137×PGE2, with a cutoff value of 34.50. With a PI equal to or greater than the limit value, the presence of a threat of miscarriage is predicted during an exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection in the early stages; with a PI less than the limit value, the absence of a threat of miscarriage during an exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection in the early stages is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides the ability to predict the threat of miscarriage during exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection in the early stages.
