FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, particularly to lining of oxygen converter with combined metal blowing. Lined converter bottom with bottom tuyer, comprising lining working layer, in masonry of which there is a bottom tuyere with a protective unit. Bottom tuyere height is 1–50 % above the installation lining bottom of the converter bottom lining liner, and protective unit is made of one and more rows of periclase-carbon articles and has height of 1–60 % higher than masonry height of working layer of lining of converter bottom.
EFFECT: invention increases service life of bottom tuyere and duration of operation of converter with neutral gas blowing through bottom tuyere of increased height size.
