FIELD: liquid metal blowing devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for blowing liquid metal with gas in a ladle. The device contains a purge plug installed in the nested argon block. The lower part of the purge plug is equipped with a check valve located coaxially with the vertical axis of the purge plug. The upper part of the purge plug is equipped with an indicator placed coaxially with the vertical axis of the purge plug. The purge plug on the inside has radial slots located symmetrically about its vertical axis and parallel to the sides of the purge plug.
EFFECT: quality of metal preparation and the uniformity of metal mixing are improved.
