FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test equipment, namely, to performance of thermal tests of ceramic fairings. Method of thermal tests of ceramic fairings includes heating fairing, temperature measurement and supply of gas mixture. Mixture is supplied in direction from top to end of cowling and from side of heating zones in direction of normal to fairing surface. At the same time, force loading is applied in the form of vibration action. Gas mixture is supplied from fairing apex side between fairing outer surface and heater with controlled temperature (-50–100) °C and humidity 20–100 %. Flexible thin-wall heat-insulating membrane separating heating zone between fairing and vibrating bench is installed in installation plane of fairing on vibration table.
EFFECT: wider functional parameters of test equipment.
