FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: holder for an aerosol-generating article comprises a body forming a passage configured to receive an aerosol-generating article. Besides, holder contains retainer made with possibility to move in longitudinal direction relative to case from first position to second position. Retainer comprises deflectable tab and retaining element protruding from tab and configured to hold aerosol-generating article inside housing passage when retainer is in first position. Moving the retainer to the second position causes the tab to deflect to enable insertion of the aerosol-generating article into the body passage or to withdraw it from the passage. Holder may comprise a plurality of retainers configured to move from a first position to a second position.
EFFECT: multiple retainers can surround the combustible heat source of the aerosol-generating article when the retainers are in the first position.
