FIELD: methods of traffic control.
SUBSTANCE: method of controlling movement for a vehicle comprises steps of, at which, during control of autonomous movement of a vehicle, a section of a road including an arc and a narrow road, is present in front of considered vehicle and other vehicle is moving in adjacent lane and ahead of considered vehicle, position is evaluated based on speed of the vehicle in question, speed of the other vehicle and distance between vehicles. When the position is located further from the vehicle in question than the start point of the road section, determining that the considered vehicle can not advance the other vehicle before the road section, and distance between vehicles is controlled. Also, when position is located in position closer to considered vehicle, it is determined that considered vehicle can advance other vehicle before section of road, and autonomous movement control is performed to advance the other vehicle.
EFFECT: safe vehicle control is achieved.
