METHOD FOR IMPROVING PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE OF PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE AND OSTEOSARCOPENIA IN CORONARY ARTERY BYPASS SURGERY Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B5/00 A61B6/00 A61B5/83

Abstract RU 2768470 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology and cardiosurgery, and is a method for postoperative physical rehabilitation of patients with ischemic heart disease and osteosarcopenia, underwent coronary bypass surgery in conditions of artificial circulation. For this purpose, in the preoperative period, osteosarcopenia is diagnosed using the SARC-F questionnaire, determining the musculoskeletal index based on the results of multispiral computed tomography, as well as calculation of T-criterion by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry. Starting from 7th postoperative day, interval training is performed on a treadmill with an individually calculated walking speed based on the results of the cardiopulmonary load test based on the target oxygen consumption, defined as VO2dest = VO2peak × 0.75, where VO2dest is target oxygen consumption, ml/kg/min, VO2peak is peak oxygen consumption, ml/kg/min. Treadmill walking speed is calculated by the formula taking into account VO2dest is target oxygen consumption, ml/kg/min. There are 10 sessions including warm-up, main training period and cool-down. Warm-up and cool-down for 5 minutes represent treadmill walking at speed of 1.5 km/h.

EFFECT: method provides higher functional status of patients and improved exercise tolerance.
