FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for electrolytic production of aluminum ligatures from oxide material. Method involves electrolysis of oxide-fluoride melt, which is carried out using a solid cathode at temperature higher than 570 °C, and products of electrolysis with inclusions of melt components are separated from solid cathode and mixed with liquid aluminum at temperature 800 to 900 °C.
EFFECT: elimination of complex and long-term operations involving extraction of ligature from bottom of electrolysis cell and immersion of pure aluminum, reduction of idle time of electrolytic cell and increase of efficiency of obtaining aluminum ligatures.
