FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of firing bottom of aluminum electrolytic cell with fired or inert anodes. Proposed method comprises coating of bottom with electroconductive material, arrangement of annealed anodes connected to anode buses of anode lock of electrolyser, transmission of electric current through electroconductive material and control of current load on anodes for roasting. At that providing uniform firing by selection of electrically conductive material amount under anodes, wherein the amount of electroconductive material under the anodes is selected such that under the anodes located in the middle of the electrolysis cell, the material is less than under the anodes located near the end extreme anodes, and under electrodes located near end extreme anodes, electroconductive material was less than under end extreme anodes.
EFFECT: providing uniform heating of the bottom of the aluminum electrolysis cell during the whole roasting time, safe commissioning and longer service life of the aluminum electrolytic cell.
