DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR MICROCIRCULATORY CHANGES OF THE INTRAOCULAR PART OF THE OPTIC NERVE IN YOUNG PATIENTS BY OCT-ANGIOGRAPHY Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B3/12 A61B6/03

Abstract RU 2729356 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for diagnosis of microcirculatory changes of optic nerve intraocular portion (ONIP) in young patients. An optic disc zone is scanned with a peripapillary region of the examined eye in a circle by an optical coherent tomography method Angio Disk QuickVue 4.5×4.5 mm. Ratio of area occupied by capillaries to whole area of intraocular segment of optic nerve is measured. If average area of capillaries is less than 45 % of total ONIP area, area of capillaries in temporal quadrant less than 45 % of area of said quadrant, area of capillaries in upper quadrant less than 45 % of area of said quadrant, area of capillaries in nasal quadrant less than 44 % of area of said quadrant, and area of capillaries in lower quadrant is less than 47 % of area of said quadrant, then microcirculatory changes of the intraocular part of the optic nerve are detected in the young age patients by the method of optical coherent tomography with the angiography function.

EFFECT: method provides detecting microcirculatory changes of the intraocular portion of the optic nerve in young patients with a pathology leading to partial atrophy of the optic nerve due to accurate diagnosis of microcirculatory changes of the intraocular portion of the optic nerve by optical coherent tomography with angiography.
