FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to iron hearth of shaft furnace. Iron tap hole contains a taphole brick, a wall with a niche. Tile brick is placed in a taphole wall in a sleeve made from corundum ramming paste MKN-96 with 2 % Foskon additive in a core box and having a metal frame inside and four holes for fixing it to the furnace armature by steel studs with thread, nuts, spring washers, wherein the niche of the wall and the sleeve are made with a lead-in part, wherein four studs with a thread are welded to the furnace armor, on them a bushing and four steel plates are fixed, by which the taphole brick is fixed in the bushing. Said bricks in form of truncated cone with lead-in section are made of corundum ramming compound MKN-96 with 2 % Foskon addition in core box and has inside metal frame with welded four steel handles and seven steel studs for fixation of metal lined drain sock. Metal frameworks of bushing and taphole brick are welded in welding conductors of steel wire of steel grade 15 with diameter of 5 mm, and in the center of taphole brick a hole is made with dimensions of 28 × 42 mm.
EFFECT: longer service life of the taphole brick and faster replacement of the worn-out brick bricks by a new one.
