SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to surgical stapling and cutting tools and cassettes with staples to be used therewith. Matrix of surgical staple ejectors for functional use with cassette with surgical staples, comprises a distal stalks pusher, at least one first intermediate staple extractor and at least one second intermediate staple driver. Distal staple ejector is configured to maintain a slide in the cassette with surgical staples and is configured to functionally support at least two distal surgical staples, each of which is oriented in a distal direction. At least one first intermediate staple extractor is configured to slide in the cartridge with surgical staples. Each at least one first intermediate staple erector is configured to functionally support at least two first surgical staples, each of which is oriented in a first direction, and at least two second surgical staples, each of which is oriented in a second direction, which is different from the first direction. At least one second intermediate staple extractor is configured to be slidably adjacent to at least one of the distal staple pushers and corresponding one of the at least one first intermediate staple ejector. Each at least one second intermediate staple extractor is configured to functionally support five second surgical staples. Each of at least two of the second surgical staples is oriented in the primary direction, and at least one other of the second surgical staples is oriented in the secondary direction, which differs from the primary direction. Cartridge with surgical staples comprises a cartridge body, a distal stalks pusher, at least one first intermediate staple extractor and at least one second intermediate staple driver. Surgical instrument comprises a slide, a cassette with surgical staples, at least one distal stalks pusher, at least one first intermediate staple ejector and at least one second intermediate staple ejector.
