CASSETTES WITH SURGICAL STAPLES WITH EJECTORS ARRANGEMENT TO FORM STAPLE HERRINGBONE PATTERNS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/72

Abstract RU 2727248 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to surgical stapling and cutting tools and cassettes with staples to be used therewith. Matrix of surgical staple ejectors for functional use in cassette with surgical staples comprises first staple extractors and at least one second staple extractor. First staple ejectors are configured to be capable of sliding in the cartridge with surgical staples. Each first staple extractor supports at least two first surgical staples. Each of the first surgical staples contains the first crown. First crowns are parallel to each other. Each of the first staple extractors comprises a first cam slope and a second cam slope located at a distance from the first cam slope. At least one second staple extractor is configured to be slidable in the cartridge with surgical staples. Each second staple extractor supports a single second surgical cramp. Second surgical staple has a second crown extending in a second direction transverse to the first crown of each of the first surgical staples, supported on at least one first staple extractor. First and second staple extractors are aligned along one line in the cassette with surgical staples such that each second staple ejector is located between the first two staple extractors from the first staple extractors. Each of second staple extractors comprises primary cam slope and secondary cam slope spaced apart from primary cam slope. Cartridge with surgical staples comprises a cartridge body and aforesaid matrix of surgical staple ejectors. Cartridge body comprises a proximal end and a distal end. Surgical stapling instrument comprises a sled, a cassette with surgical staples and the above matrix of surgical staple ejectors. Slides are made with possibility of movement along axis. Sleds comprise first and second cam elements.

EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to improve quality of staple line.
