SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to surgical stapling and cutting tools and cassettes with staples to be used therewith. Matrix of surgical staple ejectors for functional use with cassette with surgical staples comprises a distal stalks pusher, intermediate staple extractors and proximal staple extractor. A surgical staple cartridge comprises a cassette body and the above staple extractor matrix. In a matrix of surgical staple ejectors, a distal stalks pusher is supported to move in said cassette body; intermediate staple extractors are supported with possibility of movement in said cassette body in serial arrangement and the proximal staple ejector is kept slidably adjacent to the most proximal of said intermediate staple extractors. A surgical stapling instrument comprises a sled, a cassette with surgical staples and the above matrix of surgical staple ejectors.

EFFECT: inventions are characterized by that the proximal staple ejector is configured to functionally support one proximal surgical staple.
