FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgical stapling and cutting tools and cassettes with staples to be used therewith. Cartridge with surgical staples comprises a cartridge body and at least one staple extractor. Cartridge body comprises a centrally located elongated slot, made with possibility of arrangement of fabric-cutting element, external section of side wall of cartridge and section of wall of cassette of elongated slot. At least one staple extractor is supported to slide between the outer portion of the cassette side wall and the elongated slot cartridge wall portion. At least one staple extractor comprises an ejector body configured to functionally support at least one surgical staple. Surgical staple comprises a staple crown, a proximal pedicle protruding from one end of the staple crown, and a distal pedicle protruding from the other end of the staple crown. Ejector housing comprises a proximal support post and a distal support post. Proximal support post is configured to support the proximal pedicle. Distal support post is configured to support the distal pedicle. Ejector housing comprises at least one cam surface extending along the cam axis extending transversely between the proximal and distal support posts. Cam axis is parallel to the elongated slot. One of the proximal and distal support posts is supported with the possibility of sliding in one of the specified external area of the side wall of the cartridge and section of the wall of the cartridge of the elongated slot.

EFFECT: use of invention provides prevention or reduction of skew of staple ejector during its upward movement.
