SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer technology for data processing. Technical result is achieved by setting function of efficiency of presentation of advertising materials to user, describing efficiency of presentation depending on parameters of presentation of promotional materials to user; setting the efficiency function of the perception of advertising materials by the user, which describes the perception efficiency depending on the user behaviour when presenting the advertisement; determining the value of the expected efficiency of placing advertising materials as a superposition of the function of the efficiency of presenting advertising materials to the user and a function for efficiently perceiving advertisement materials by the user.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of determining effectiveness of advertising materials.
