FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear engineering and represents a transport container for spent ion-exchange resins (SIER). Transport container for transportation of the SIER, which ensures safe filling and emptying of the container and rules for safe transportation of radioactive substances, consists of a sealed reservoir for the SIER installed on a shielding container of biological protection, a connection kit and a control cabinet, the above equipment is installed on the frame of the transport container. SIER unloading and bubbling is carried out with compressed air, sealed capacity design is made with the flange connector top location, cartridge-type slotted filter and bubble slotted bottom are used, electrically driven mechanical agitator with magnetic coupling is installed, screening capacitor of localizing type with damping device is used.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to use compressed air during unloading and bubbling of SIER.
