FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for sampling potatoes with high content of anthocyans, which involves selecting initial parent forms, obtaining hybrids, sampling and analyzing them, characterized by that in the mass flowering period of plants, samples with a red-violet colouration of the flowers are selected, and on 60th day after planting, specimens with red and pink colouration of tubers peel are extracted from them, wherein pelargonidine 3-glucoside content is 78–95 mg/kg.
EFFECT: proposed invention will make it possible to accelerate and simplify the method of sampling potatoes with high content of anthocyans in skin of tubers when creating new varieties and reduce labor intensity.
