FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for selection of potato varieties of early, medium-early and mid-ripening group, resistant to waterlogging of soil in the south of the Far East, includes selection of parental forms, obtaining new hybrids, sampling and analysis. Distinctive feature of the method is that samples with stable productivity are selected on 60th, 70th, 80th, 100th days of digging after planting, with low starch content in tubers at HTC of 2,70–3,10.
EFFECT: proposed invention will make it possible to select potato genotypes resistant to soil waterlogging, with hydrothermal coefficient 2,70–3,10 (HTC 2,70–3,10), with low starch content, intended for dietary use.
