Result is achieved by device (301) for combining two images or two video images of images comprises: dynamic range setting unit (302), configured to establish dynamic range (combrng) of merging brightness, wherein dynamic range setting unit further comprises brightness anchoring unit (303), color transformation unit (310) configured to perform at least brightness conversion on at least one of two images or video recordings, wherein color transformation unit (310) comprises initial anchor brightness reading unit (311) and images merging unit (320), configured to combine two images or two video images of images to form at least one output image (im_o).
EFFECT: providing universal unification of images or video recordings with different characteristics of dynamic range and brightness.
