FIELD: transportation; electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical equipment of passenger railroad cars. Locomotive traction passenger car power supply system comprises power supply control unit (PSCU), in-series under-wag generator, rectifying bridge, rectifier bridge output voltage voltage sensor connected in series, matching device and terminals for connection of power consumers. First signal inputs of the PSCU are connected to the outlet of the power windings of the sub-wagon generator, the second signal inputs of the PSCU are connected to the output buses of the rectifier bridge. First control output of PSCU is connected to excitation winding of sub-wrench generator. Voltage sensor is installed between output buses of rectifying bridge, and its signal output is connected to signal input of matching device, outputs of which are connected to terminals of connection of power consumers. Control input of the matching device is connected to the second control output of the PSCU.

EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of power supply of passenger cars in range of reduced speeds of movement.
