FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and represents a recombinant protein containing sequences of virulence factor TcpA and subunit B of cholera toxin Vibrio cholerae, thioredoxin A Escherichia coli and fragment Fc of human immunoglobulin G1. Also disclosed is a DNA sequence coding this protein.
EFFECT: invention shows that immunization of mice with recombinant protein leads to induction of antibodies to proteins V_cholerae TcpA and CTB in high titres and causes protective immunity at the level recommended for application of preparation of cholera vaccine.
