FIELD: nano-optical technologies.

SUBSTANCE: method of producing surface axial nanophotonics (SNAP) device is realized by creation of preset profile of effective radius of fiber along its axis by successive action of focused radiation on certain sections of fiber during its movement. Effect is carried out when the fiber is moved in continuous mode at fiber temperature below the transformation temperature by not less than 100 degrees with simultaneous continuous monitoring of the produced modification of the effective radius.

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling reduction of the number of production and control operations during manufacture of the device.
