FIELD: electroplating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating and can be used for galvanic deposition of zinc and zinc alloy coatings from alkaline bath for application of coating with reduced decomposition of organic additives in bath. Method of galvanic deposition of zinc-nickel coatings from alkaline bath for application of coating containing zinc-nickel electrolytes and organic additives, which include amine-containing complexing agents, in which the anode used is an electrode which is insoluble in the bath and contains metallic manganese and/or manganese oxide, wherein electrode is made from manganese-containing metal or manganese-containing alloy, which contains at least 5 wt. % of manganese, or is made from electroconductive substrate and applied on it coating from metallic manganese and/or manganese oxide, wherein the manganese and/or manganese oxide coating contains at least 5 wt. % manganese, based on the total amount of manganese, in the manganese metal coating composition and manganese oxide, or are made from composite material containing manganese and/or manganese oxide and electroconductive material, wherein composite material contains at least 5 wt. % manganese, based on total amount of manganese, in composition of coating of manganese metal and manganese oxide.
EFFECT: technical result is effective prevention of cyanide formation.
