FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Invention is a method of preparing for parasitizing nematodes in morphological and molecular-genetic studies of parasites in ruminant animals, including preservation of nematode samples in 96 % ethanol, placing as required nematodes on watch glass, washing in 0.9 % isotonic solution of sodium chloride, placing nematodes on slides in drop of 10 % aqueous solution of glycerol, covering with a slide, microphotography in transmitted light at 40–400-fold magnification to determine morphological differences important for taxonomic differentiation, where nematodes preserved in 96 % ethanol are washed in distilled water at room temperature, then the nematode is placed in plastic test tubes with volume of 1.5 ml one sample each and frozen at temperature of -20 °C for 30 days, and then used for molecular-genetic research.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing efficiency of morphological and molecular-genetic research of nematodes, as well as improving safety for health of researcher of preparation of nematode samples for laboratory tests.
