FIELD: aerosol production.
SUBSTANCE: aerosol delivery device is proposed, comprising a casing forming a reservoir, designed to hold the composition of the aerosol precursor, and a power source, a heating element, and a boost converter contained in the casing. The power source is designed to create an output voltage. It is possible to control the heating element to activate and evaporate the components of the aerosol precursor composition. The boost converter is located between the power source and the electrical load that contains the heating element, and is designed to increase the output voltage of the power source to a higher voltage, from which the heating element is powered to activate and evaporate the components of the aerosol precursor composition.
EFFECT: creation of a boost converter for aerosol delivery device.
