FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Disclosed is a method for quantitative assessment of virions of foot-and-mouth disease virus in a non-inactivated raw material vaccine when comparing maximum extrema of graphs of the second derivative for real-time amplification reaction curves. Real-time amplification reaction is carried out using reverse transcription and determining values of maximum extrema (Cp) of graphs of the second derivative for curves of accumulation of a fluorescent signal. Concentration of virions of foot-and-mouth disease virus in the samples of non-inactivated raw materials is calculated on the basis of a quadratic model of the dependence of the number of complete virus particles and values of maximum extrema of graphs of the second derivative for curves of amplification reaction in real time.
EFFECT: invention enables fast and high reliability of detecting the number of virions of foot-and-mouth disease virus in a non-inactive vaccine raw material.
