SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Method for detecting a downlink signal comprises steps of receiving, by a terminal from a first TP, system configuration information of a second TP, terminal is used to detect downlink signal of second TP according to system configuration information of second TP, terminal generates measurement result or detection result for downlink signal of second TP, sending, by a terminal, a measurement result or a detection result to a first TP and sending, by the terminal, an uplink signal to a second TP according to second TP configuration information, wherein the first TP is a means of transmitting data of the long term evolution of communication systems (LTE) and the second TP is a means of transmitting data of a new radio (NR) fifth generation (5G).

EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the complexity of detecting a downlink signal of a second transmission point (TP) for a communication terminal.
