FIELD: education.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of education, to training facilities as a technical means of training in universities, colleges, where theoretical and applied mechanics is studied. Device for visualizing directions of reactions of flat rod structures, comprising a bedplate, a semitransparent screen, in which, in the areas of reaction images, light-conducting insertions are made, behind which sections of boards with light-emitting diodes are located, arrow characterizing direction of gravity, characterized by that it additionally comprises vertical screen with groove, two cylindrical hinges, two rods of composite structure, axis, flexible thread, unit with axis, load, at that, on the base by means of welding a vertical screen is rigidly mounted, on one side of which a block with an axis and cylindrical hinges are rigidly installed, wherein one ends of rods of composite structure are connected to cylindrical hinges, and by other ends are connected to each other by means of an axis located in the groove of the vertical screen, the axis has two stops for fixation in the groove on both sides of the vertical screen and is connected by a flexible thread, which is thrown through the unit with the load, to which is attached arrow characterizing direction of gravity, wherein each core of the composite structure consists of a cylinder with a slot in the wall, a piston with a protrusion connected rigidly to the rod, a cover, two springs arranged on two sides of the piston, two microswitches with contact plates, wherein piston protrusion projects from slot and interacts with contact plates of microswitches fixed to cylinder wall on slot side, and a translucent screen with light-conducting inserts with an image in the form of arrows and a board with light-emitting diodes are fixed to the wall of the cylinder located symmetrically to the slot.
EFFECT: visualization of directions of reaction projections in composite parts of rod structures and trusses, at various directions of force and points of its application.
